Dream League

FAQs

Who can participate?

Any individual with physical and/or intellectual challenges may participate.  The Dream League accommodates players from ages 6 to ages 17.  Our Senior Dream League accommodates players ages 15 and above.

What rules are followed during a Dream League game?

The Dream League believes in flexibility and adaptability during our games.  Our games are typically two innings long and last about an hour.  Each player gets to play in the field, bat and run the bases each inning. We celebrate each player and do not keep score.  We cheer defensive outs but don’t record them.  Our games are fun, not competitive.  Batters use batting tees or receive pitches from coaches. Everyone wins!  Little League does provide us with a rulebook we follow which includes best practices for running our games.

Who are Angels in the Outfield?

Our Angels in the Outfield, known in Little League International as Challenger Buddies and “Day of Volunteers”, are our player’s buddies.  They are individuals who are assigned to each player to assist in the areas such as pushing wheelchairs, batting, base running and playing defense in the field.  Our Angels in the Outfield make sure our players are safe at all times.  The Angels in the Outfield are typically middle or high school students, ages 9 and up, and often times, peer athletes.   Many times, a player's sibling or relative chooses to be their player's Angel.  To volunteer to be an Angel in the Outfield, go to the Registration page.

When are games?

Our games are played on Saturday morning with the first team playing 9 a.m. and the second set of teams playing at 10:30 a.m.
